A. Memorandum to the P.M.:
Seeing the plight of T.N. farmers who suffered from the drought of 2017 and the sufferings of 80 fishermen whose boats had been seized by Sri Lanka, we had collected 1.5 lakh signatures/ thumb impressions from the affected farmers and fishermen and presented the memorandum to our Honorable Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi in April, 2017

B. Awards to girl students studying in government schools of T.N. who obtained more than 1000 out of 1200 marks in 12th standard final exams in 2017 during our 10th Anniversary celebrations, with the Hon’ble T.N. Governor Sri Banwarilal Purohith as the chief guest:This presentation of awards to the girl students will be an annual program of the Trust.

C. Women’s Festival – to encourage young women of the state, we conducted, along with World Women’s Foundation, various contests among girl students of colleges in T.N., to select the “Cooking Queen of Tamil Nadu”, “Speech Queen of Tamil Nadu”, “Rangoli Queen of Tamil Nadu”, “Dance Queen of Tamil Nadu” and “Catwalk Queen of Tamil Nadu” and awarded prizes to winners at a function held on February 3, 2019. D. We conducted a bicycle rally in New Delhi on 25.11.2018 along with …. , New Delhi, in which boys and girls with speech and hearing inability participated. This was conducted to create awareness about pollution caused by vehicles and to encourage usage of bicycles. The rally’s route was from the New Delhi railway station via Gurudwara and Janthar Manthar, ending at the India Gate.

E. We have organized a program on March 16, 2019 at Puducherry where the Hon’ble Governor of Puducherry, Ms. Kiran Bedi will be the Chief Guest. A book, “Penn Veeram” (women’s bravery) written by a well known author Mrs. Chithra Suresh is going to be released there. Also the winners of the T.N. girls’ Kabaddi competition will be awarded at the function.
